Winner of the BBC Young Musician Competition in 2012 at the age of 15, cellist LAURA VAN DER HEIJDEN has already made a name for herself as a very special emerging talent. In 2014, Laura was awarded the Landgraf von Hessen Prize at the Kronberg Academy’s prestigious international masterclasses. In 2015, Laura was named Young Artist in Residence of the London Mozart Players. The beauty of Laura van der Heijden’s playing lies in the fact that she has a wonderful expressivity, but never, ever overdoes it.” (Jane Shuttleworth, Bachtrack)

TOM POSTER is internationally recognised as a pianist of outstanding artistry and versatility, equally in demand as soloist and chamber musician across an unusually extensive repertoire. He has been described as “a marvel, [who] can play anything in any style” (The Herald), a “young lion” (The Guardian), and as possessing “great authority and astounding virtuosity” (Est Républicain).
